Last night was a late one but oh so worth it as we went to Cardiff to catch the Hamilton tour. Incredible seats, sensational performances, beautiful venue!

Went back to work last week after being off unwell for three weeks before Christmas break. Eased in gently last week, this week, already feels like I didn’t have any time off & the pressure is insane. How teachers do this every day & how I’ve done it for 16 academic years, I’m beginning to wonder.

Train into London was cancelled this afternoon so made the decision to drive in, so as not to miss @empiremagazine.bsky.social #empirefilmpodcast with @chrishewitt.bsky.social @helenlohara.bsky.social and @jamescdyer.bsky.social and my goodness, I’m glad I did… what a bunch of guests! 🤩

Obviously, that’s NEVER the case, but one day, somewhere, somehow, I’d like it to occur! 🤣

Whenever I’m stood on a tube platform and a single door happens to stop directly opposite me, I have a stupid thought like ‘Oh, I was supposed to stop here and get on this one’… as if life is a movie and I’m about to bump into a long lost friend on that part of a random underground train!🤔🤦🏻‍♀️

Anyone get the feeling that this year has the potential to be another 2020 (but even worse) … After all, 2020 started with wildfires too! 🤔😭

So excited to be coming! Can’t wait! Last time we had balcony seats but glad to be on the floor this time!

Hyperfocused on a puzzle book for over 2 hours this evening … oops!

What an ending to this series. That episode made me feel every single emotion.
This show is phenomenal in so many ways and I urge everyone to watch it.
And well… if you don’t well up in this, you must be made of cables and be missing the ‘emotion’ algorithms.

Watched the entire SNL episode from last night and whilst we’ve not watched a whole one before (usually just the snippets), it made me chuckle lots! Felt quite a retro style as a whole and so totally American, but pretty fun! Plus refreshing to see something that isn’t totally slick - live is rare!

Perhaps! We moved it and adjusted it slightly and cranked it a little tighter for now! It’s one ‘chonky’ tree… 😳

Ooooh! Mine came a few days ago, I didn’t realise I had it super early! ❤️

After 1am, It fell down. At 1:40am, we put it back up… what will be the next part of this thrilling adventure we call Christmas?!

Today, we got a tree! This evening, we put it up! Later, we decorated it!
