At the very least this falls back to Arial (or any other system font) on CR's website as their player doesn't seem to support partial font name matches

The subtitles also now have 2-4 frame gaps between consecutives lines, hope you enjoy blinking subtitles!

The default dialogue styling font is also now a monospace one, which... well, it doesn't look too good.

These took a bit longer than expected due to multiple perspectives and subtle screen-wide gradients, some of the rotations might still be ever-so-slightly wrong on the attendance sheet but it should be good enough for a regular watch.

Unfortunately not everything could be typeset for my ep3 signs due to the masks being extremely complex to render (and as such would lag during playback) and simple masks just didn't look good enough.

Helped out a bit with typesetting on ep3 and ep4 of GQuuuuuX ( @kaleido.fansubcar.tel ) after like a year of not doing anything fansubbing-related, so please excuse the rust!

Crunchyroll sacked their entire video encoding team and replaced it with someone who appears to not have much video encoding experience...

A crop from a recent episode of Re:Zero S3 with brightness & contrast adjusted to make it more obvious how much extra banding has been introduced by the new encode settings. It's not a good look...
Uh oh... Looks like Crunchyroll has been tweaking their #anime video encoding settings recently and once again there's some notable video quality reduction to be found as a result. Do we really have to deal with this bullshit again? I guess it has been almost 8 years since their last attempt...
