Joy (with love for you) this only reinforces the notion that the justice system is pathetically weak and is really two systems… one for the rich and powerful and one for the rest of us. It’s a technical “victory” spun from a larger obvious failure.

Unpopular opinion: Having a “sentence” with no meaningful consequences is worse than no sentence at all. It shows that our judiciary is feeble and irrelevant when it comes to dispensing justice. Oh, and one more thing… can we dispense with the farce of having a single system of justice?!
