Yeah exactly that! They're copies of the proper alternate versions of that reality.. And yes, they disappear when the main body leaves the City 😄

The alternate versions of Ava have always existed 😄 It's just that a copy of them pops up in Nexus City when one of the Ava's steps in for her consciousness to take control of.. it's a really weird phenomenon.

-them. So original Ava controls two consciousness, and AU Ava gets the other two. It’s very tripy, I imagine 😂

Yeah! So.. what happens is that Ava’s alternate selves exist elsewhere in their own respective realities, doing their own thing. If an outsider like Ava steps into the city, the Prism splits Ava’s consciousness into copies of her AU selves. If another AU Ava steps in, they split the load between-

-realities aren't really there in the same space at the same time. The alternate versions of them are off living their own lives doing their own things.

For example, if Ava walks into Nexus City, she'll suddenly exist in 4 realities, taking on the form of her AU counterpart.

Okay so this is where things get complicated..

So the residents in Nexus City aren't affected by the split. But any outsiders that set foot in the city find their consciousness being shared between four different realities. It's because the version of themselves that exist in their respective-

It's because these realities still exist in their own worlds. So when Ava steps into Nexus City, she steps in as four alternate reality versions of herself that exists somewhere on their respective realities.

There's an infinite amount of other possible realities, but only these four were merged together out of pure randomness 😁

The alternate realities have always been there 👀 Over time, people within those realities make different decisions, creating a kind of domino effect that caused them to develop their tech and society differently.

The four different realities are:

1. Tech advanced civilization (Red)
2. Post apocalyptic cyberpunk (Yellow)
3. Modern day Medieval (Purple)
4. Mystic advanced civilization (Teal)
