For me, it was having access to animated classics. But I would watch them and cancel when I wasn't using it.

Never been a better time to cancel your Disney+ if you haven’t already and invest in physical media. Especially if you have kids.

But this is a new low. I hope, like their other greedy and soulless decisions, this will lead to a surge in interest for more innovative and creative companies. I’ve already taken comfort in people pushing back and craving authenticity so soon into the rise of gen ai.

The end of an empire. So sad to see what was once a leading force in artistic expression become what it is now. Every kid who grew up drawing has been inspired by Disney in some way. It has had low points before, and I hope it can recover and become a company that values art again.
