I didn’t like pregnancy either. Being a red head, I grew up with strangers touching me all the damn time. It got so much worse when I was pregnant. I can’t stand my belly touched to this day and I feel sick every time I recall people helping themselves to my belly like I was a Buddha statue.

I remember starting on Bluesky and just chatting back and forth with people in comments like it was no big thing. Now it usually makes me sad and overwhelmed. :/

I’ve often wondered this myself. I have the most forgettable face on the planet I guess because after 2 years fighting chronic illness and winning, none of my previous coworkers “remember me” well enough to be references.
