One phrase we've started saying that I think is pretty helpful. "You don't need my permission but you have my approval." It doesn't trigger any pathological demand avoidance but helps give us a little grace. :)

That's a good point. I've actually been brushing up on some of their techniques historically speaking. But an active, direct plan would sure help me for one. :)

This is an interesting new Amazon choice. It's a butter stick mold for when I make homemade butter. They just mailed it like this. Slapped a shipping label on the other side and sent it. Thin, fragile, plastic was all that was holding the spatula with it. Interesting; glad it got to me safely.
