I came to Godot from Unity which does the same thing so I was used to that one.

Your squash only makes the ball shorter but not wider, and I think because youโre shrinking from the centre it kind of pulls up away from the surface itโs supposed to be colliding with.

Made a palette swap shader in Godot. Uses a 4x2 texture to re-assign colours so you can easily have 6 swapped colours if you werenโt going to use full-saturation rgb, cmy
