FanGraphs listed Hayden Alvarez (CF) and Trey Gregory-Alford (RHP) as picks to click for the 2027 Top 100 prospect list.

Both guys are still ways away (even for the Angels system) but they’re intriguing players to follow beyond the near-MLB-ready guys.

The Angels have two prospects ranked within the Top 60 on FG:

52. Tyler Bremner, RHP
57. George Klassen, RHP

Both guys could/should be making MLB starts this season.

Surprised it took this long for the Angels to sign Adam Frazier. Checked the boxes of what the club said it was looking for (LHH, infielder, contact skills).

Seems like a good bet that he’ll make the club and be a bench option behind Moore/Moncada.

I’m sure he’s going to get plenty of DH time but yeah, this does not seem conducive to keeping him as healthy as possible.

I’m sure Trout will receive plenty of time at DH but he (obviously) didn’t play in CF last year and has barely played there recently due to injuries.

Couple that with his declining sprint speed (27.9 feet-per-sec in 2025, 62nd percentile) and this could go sideways.
