What if we could really green downtown? If I play with it some more I’d make the south lanes going the other way to restore the 2-way street.

New lighting is up at the Trager MicroForest. Soon the rest of the 65 trees and pathway will be complete and the ground lighting will really set the space off. Cannot wait to get the space open again!

During our Society of Urban Perambulators event in NULU while Teddy Abrams was giving a tour of his residence he realized artist Danny Seim who painted a mural on his wall was in the crowd, visiting from Portland OR. Small world, and nice surprise.

Living near green spaces could add 2.5 years to your life, new research finds A new study suggests long-term exposure to more greenery can slow down aging.

I’ve been focusing a lot on human comfort in urban settings through intense greening. Great to see more research on the potential benefits of green spaces.
