She floored me when she told me not everyone deserves our forgiveness and, in fact, sometimes it’s healthier not to forgive
Sometimes empathy isn’t the answer
I’m pinning that advice to the front of my brain and I suggest you do too
Only some of us are awake enough to rebel, by the time the majority wake up we will already be at the point of no return.

Four years ago, I was trying out a weekly release of audiobook-style narration, using short pieces from the public domain. One of them, shockingly relevant then and scarily relevant now, was Ur Fascism, written by Umberto Ecco.
