We don’t always hear enough from people with dementia. This is a fantastic reminder that the things that matter to us all are unifying.

I loved the emphasis on reciprocity. Of course we all want to feel recognised & have opportunities to be helpful.

I’m caring for my mum and silently furious at what my life has become Like many other β€˜sandwich carers’, I’m juggling work, care and raising my teenager – and I’ve reached breaking point

4.7 million people in England provide unpaid care and support to family often at a financial cost and to their health and wellbeing. Our vision is for unpaid care to be recognised, supported and remunerated when it’s a choice.

4 in 5 of us are likely to need support in our lifetime because of things like illness, age, or disability.
