So, the reason we're seeing all these stories suggesting Sinners isn't going to be profitable is because WB signed a deal that gives director Ryan Coogler all rights to the movie after 25 years. And other studios are terrified of "directors ultimately owning their films" becoming the norm.

There are two panels from The Batman of Bruce driving through the city. One panel contains movie narration that says "Murders, robberies, assault." He gets super strength, so I think it counts. I've just seen people say they don't think it's a true superhero movie for whatever reason.

By my count, Michael Giacchino has written more superhero movie scores than anyone, with 10 (including the upcoming Fantastic Four). Danny Elfman is next, with 9, but only if you count Darkman as a superhero movie.

It's wild to me that in Spider-Man No Way Home, after Toby says "I lost my Uncle Ben" Andrew's Parker goes straight into talking about losing Gwen without saying "Holy shit, I ALSO lost my Uncle Ben AND I also lost Gwen."
