This is unfortunately very common due to the various sanction lists that regulators supply. The names of ships in particular are quite generic and trigger a lot of false positives; resolving these is often manual and slow.

The FDIC is an absolutely extraordinary organization that regularly steps in and seamlessly prevents chaos due to bank failures. Incredibly important for both the banking system and consumers.
