It is pretty good! I’d lived here for decades before going there! It took a visit from an out-of-town relative to get me to go; they wanted to do all the “unusual” museums and I’d hardly even thought of the Tenement Museum before then, but it turned out to be way more interesting than I expected!

I had an amazing American History teacher at Brooklyn Tech who took our class on a weekend trip there, and then to dim sum in Chinatown!
