It looks like there's bluesky drama. I guess people can get bad words in through the domain verification system. It seems like they forgot to apply a profanity filter to that. I'd think that be a straightforward fix, technically. Apologizing and rebuilding trust with an enflamed community is harder.

I don't understand how I'm supposed to discover people on Bluesky. I have two followers. It seems like this message will reach those two feeds, then it will die. There are no hashtags. Popular With Friends is down, so I don't think I'd appear on that feed. How does this platform work?

TIL if you search "that episode" on the internet, an episode of CSI about furries comes up. Why does this happen? I don't know, but it makes me happy to know the canonical episode of television is about weirdos having fun being weird.
