I get that and I thought about it too. My complaint is more to do with explicit queer rep count more so being 1 and *then* them being the one amongst said friends who breaks, while also delegated to said side role.

I can't think of another character *implied* to be queer, let alone explicitly so

the mild, vague version of it I'll sneak into the replies only for the real ones is that people who put in the effort to boost otherwise underrepresented voices need to stop putting a majority the onus on said voices to be heard by them, and instead go seeking said people out themselves.
