Maybe it's The Horrors (TM), maybe it's thay #weirdcarbs just isn't catchy enough.
I dunno. Still, the vibes here are immaculate compared to anywhere else. I'm glad we're here.
dear fucking god shapes how are you this good

29.01.2026 05:52 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I've been on CPAP for six months with great AHI numbers and compliance and I still feel terrible most of the time, sadly.
Been longing for that change but it hasn't come yet!
spending ever greater sums of money on more medical treatments that never seem to work in a last ditch attempt to turn my life around
29.01.2026 03:57 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I think the worst thing is that it's really harming my ability to do things.
I can barely work these days, let alone get on with any of my own projects. It's kind of keeping me from getting anywhere in life, I miss being productive like in my 20s.
unclear if my lack of achievement is due to something inherently damaged about me or merely a failure to properly manage sleep apnea

Against that back drop, a silly little digital camera that takes charmingly bad photos?
I love it. Best $50 I spent in ages.
I could do it with any sort of camera, really. I love my Polaroid for that reason, for example.
It's just a bit hard to bank roll in the era when we're all going broke because a rotisserie chicken is $40 now.
cherry pits photographed on a wooden table
The thing I love about this camera is that it's just a fun excuse to take pictures. Because of that, I end up taking WAY more silly little pictures that come with lots of fun little memories and stories.
I just don't do that with a smartphone!

Friends!
The Charmera does not have dynamic range. It just doesn't.
A group of real and bootleg Pokemon plushies. Clockwise, we have Snorlax, Wonkychu, someone?, Strongmander, and Jagglypaff.
Home with the family!
The trick to good Charmera shots is LOTS of light and a steady hand.
The War Machine has been bested by our heroes.
This combat took a full four hours until we could wipe all the combatants and claim the War Machine as our own.
Our DM invested heavily to buy all this gear and it was so fun to finally get to play with all of it!
A vehicular combat scene in D&D 5e. The flame ring on the Infernal War Machine represents the area of effect of the Darkness spell, cast by Aelar to blind the driver and fighters on board.
Vehicular combat in D&D 5e is... janky. And yet... this was the greatest combat I've *ever* played.
I was able to cast Darkness on the War Machine, which blinded the driver and the enemies upon it. The cool thing is that Darkness moves with the object you cast it on, which my DM did not expect!
Aelar, standing beside his flaming steed, Stephanie.
Try to imagine a 5ft. wood elf on a flaming, flying steed and you get how glorious it really is.
His name is Aelar, and her name is Stephanie. They are quite a pair in the air.
D&D characters do battle with a giant War Machine vehicle
We wound up in combat with an infernal war machine. My Paladin got a flying horse! (A Nightmare)
