Finished #HollowKnight #Silksong ! Great game, well worth the wait. I only wish I'd found the Wanderer Crest before late Act 2 and that exploration in Act 3 wasn't such a pain. All in all, superb game.

All issues my wife's old #Kindle suffered from disappeared the moment I installed #KOReader . It's fast again, the faded screen is gone and, since she got a new #ereader , it's (synced with) mine now - until the eldest claims it.

My love for public transport withers on days like this when on the way up the train 'might not' ride to the end stop (it didn't) and now I had to switch trains three times and wait 45 minutes for a 12 minute ride.

This month I played three spoopy games: Paranormasight, Resident Evil (Remake) and Silent Hill. I didn't particularly vibe with REmake, especially its first half. Silent Hill, on the other hand, was absolutely superb.

Back from the optometrist and my eyes got worse once again. (sigh) Yes, my work involves a screen 8 hours a day. Yes, most of my hobbies involve screens. Only way forward I see is making that 20-20-20 rule a habit.

I finished finished the compelling A Master of Djinn by #PDjèlíClark , the beautifully written and moreish Gifts by #UrsulaKLeGuin and just now The Time Nature Keeps by Helen Pilcher. Gifts in particular reminded me how much I love reading. :ablobcatheartsqueeze:

Haven't been keeping up with reading this year, so I started to lag behind on my bare minimum of one book a month. To get back in shape, I finished three this month and currently browsing my vast #Calibre database for a fourth one.

Exactly 10 years ago today, KisekiWiki was founded by @gu4n.bsky.social.

Now, 10 years later, its ≈5000 pages have all been transferred to Falcom Wiki, where they keep increasing and becoming richer as Nihon Falcom's epic story continues.

This definitely is a thing... Another reason I'm happy with NixOS is that I had to look into setting this up only once (which did take a long time), then added it to my configuration and ever since it works out of the gate on a fresh installation.

Finished #Lufia2 last night. Loved the unconventional dungeon designs, the overall pacing, the music and that ending in particular. It has soul and it's a classic for a good reason.

I never found out the root issue of my #homeserver reboots, but thankfully a new SSD and a fresh #Proxmox installation fixed whatever caused it. It's been running like a charm ever since I turned it back on, even throughout the holiday.

Just checked and it still appears to be vacant.

Pretty sure it'll make its way to the wiki sooner or later! I have yet to play the game, so might as well scribble down some lore when I eventually do.
