17) Car Race (Elektor TV Games Computer)

Well, that's a game system I never heard of before, lol. Only played this because it was rolled on RetroAchievements for a Roulette thing. Took a minute to beat, about 7 minutes to master ... Not much to say about this, it's super simplistic.

Damn, not the two seconds gameplay of driving forward 😭Can't spoil us too much.

Krass dass die Pacing Probleme trotz cut content noch bestehen :D Aber verstehe ich voll, hatte lange für das Spiel gebraucht und es eher in kleinen Dosen gespielt. Funktionierte wegen der episodischen Natur aber auch recht gut tbf.

Gehe ich komplett mit! Mir fehlen noch einige Teile (3,4,6,9 und theoretisch 10) aber die drei sind schon ganz vorne bei mir.

I've been a huge fan of those movies for a good portion of my life and never watched the extended versions, lol

I kinda enjoy taking this game a bit slower and chipping away at it tbh. It doesn't even fit the theme of the game since it seems to take place over a very small number of days, but it'll take forever till the next one comes out, so I'm trying to savor this big ass adventure for a while 😅

Hard to talk about it without spoiling, but the "Agnés moment" at the end of Act 2 of Trails beyond the Horizon was handled really well. Just the way I hoped it would go, glad they did this. Crazy how I'm 60 hours in and just finished act 2. Probably another 100h+ journey at the end.

Jinx and Vi depicted facing one another in an Art Nouveau style.

I do enjoy the skating and level design though, which is the most important part. New mechanics are nice to have, but it feels like THUG2 already did have everything you really need. Classic mode is underwhelming but it also has some nice maps. Probably the last good Tony Hawk game.

I kinda like the concept of building your own skatepark by demolishing the environment and stealing objects and stuff, but the actual dramatic curve of the story just feels really rushed and the romance (yes there is one) is so shoehorned in. It even forces you to play a male character because of it

Replayed American Wasteland, working on the #RetroAchievements there. It's an enjoyable game, but the story mode feels kinda rushed and pretty tutorialized. Like this is the 7th game in the franchise and ya'll hit me with "do the trick 3 times" on the highest difficulty, lol.

Push it back further.

15) Mr. Bean (PS2)

Beat Mr. Bean on PS2 ... Okay look. It was part of a RetroAchievement roulette thing, it happened to land on the achievement you get for beating the game and I was morbidly curious.

And well, it's a very bland 3D platformer with not much to it. Just boring really.

14) X-Men: Next Dimension (GameCube)

Beat X-Men: Next Dimension. Since I grew up with the Academy Games on PS1 this was interesting to catch up on, but the game is kinda shitty unfortunately. Prone to crashing and pretty ugly, lol. But oh well.

I got to play Final Fantasy VII, VIII, IX, X, X-2 that all came out within 6 years of each other, not to mention all the *other* bangers old Square put out at the same time.

In the equivalent timespan we've only had two parts of a remake of Final Fantasy VII, and XVI. This is absolutely The Reason.

Imagine writing this under the biggest kino that ever graced this earth
