so many of these maps are at a point where I can just relax in them & explore after clearing out all the enemies, it feels so nice, entire stretches of them can just be played through like normal, no console commands, noclipping, just a bit more polish & then I'd consider them done

Stewing in a pressure cooker of bad news and reactions and takes until you lash out at the nearest possible target is not helpful to you, or to anybody.

we have so many reasons to be angry and ultimately we are fucked if we keep directing that at the easiest and closest targets rather than the most powerful and impactful ones

i suppose there is nothing surprising about a group that pushes for censorship coming from australia, which on an institutional level was always a bit of a breeding ground for bizarre pearl-clutching wrt media

it's good though. I quite like it. it's trying to be set-piece-y but it's not afraid to let combat play out organically. there's enough room to go against the 'suggested' flow and occasionally do stupid shit

and I take that opportunity frequently, because it's funnier that way

Maddie and I have been playing Halo 3 co-op for the first time and I'm starting to think that the main appeal of these games is when the "Press [RB] to pick up" prompt appears over an image of an incomprehensible sci-fi weapon outline and you're like "ohoho now what does *this* fucking thing do"
