Originally, I wasn’t sure if this one was completed. So, I put it down for a few weeks, but eventually came to the decision that I was, in fact, not quite done with it. Now, I am. Acrylic on 8x10 canvas with Satin varnish.

Another 8x10 linocut print that I based off another painting that I made. I’m thinking of doing a limited run of both prints on a few t-shirts. I’ve got one more painting that I’m thinking of using for a third linocut print.

Sarah has been suggesting that I make some larger linocut prints. So, today I decided to make some 8x10s based off an older painting of mine. As I was printing, I kept thinking about how they remind me of the comic books I used to read when I was a kid.

Finally got around to finishing the fourth cloche that I was working on.

“Bunny” has been completed. This was a really fun project and I am so happy with the results.

Well, I think I’m done with this one, for the most part. Still need to pin some things back for a tighter fit, but overall I’d say I’m happy. Although, I do feel like she needs to be holding a doll head in the other hand.

I’m trying to decide if it’s going to be holding something in the other hand. Since, technically, the other hand is behind her back in the painting. Originally, I was going to have her holding something in the painting, but I decided I would rather have it, I guess, implied that she was but hiding.

Yesterday, I worked on getting the hands made and attached. A little bit of armature wire, some aluminum foil, and duct tape and it’s ready to hold the cleaver.

With October creeping up on us fairly fast, I’ve also been busy getting my new prop built for my Halloween yard display. This year’s prop is based off an original painting that I did about a year ago or so. If I have the time, I may try and make the background, as well.

Last Saturday, @sarahables.bsky.social and I took some time to give our space at the Town Peddler a little remodel. I really like the new look. While we aren’t able to showcase all our items we’re selling, we have a pretty good range of items. Come check out what we have (Booth 75 on 7th & Main).

Current WIP. I started this one a while back, about 7 months ago, but couldn’t decide where I wanted to go with it. Yesterday, I felt like taking another look at it. I’m glad that I did. Sometimes it helps to walk away from a project and then come back to it with fresh eyes.

Cloche #1. Mushrooms made from hand painted oven-baked polymer clay. I started slowly working on these about six months ago and just recently finished them up.

A tall, buff, red and gold half-orc-teifling with large horns holds a pale blue moon elf with bright blue hair. The half-orc-tiefling had long red hair and red eyes, and his gold tail is wrapping around the moon elf's legs. He has tusks and is wearing brown harem pants with a purple cloth belt with multi colored tassels. The moon elf has shoulder length hair and silver jewelry and is wearing loose fitting white robes, with a silver and white moon phase cloth. The robes are open and they have a diagonal scare on their chest. They are holding the gold man's jaw and the two are gazing at each other lovingly. In the background are pools of water amongst the sand, and a starry night background with a sun and moon symbol in the corner.

Secret Gnome standing guard by our back door.

The one I found on Thursday, probably, wasn’t too happy with me stomping around in the garden, but I needed to get the Lilac bush trimmed. I’m just glad that I found it by sweeping up some debris with my hands; rather than finding it with my boot.
