Thanks to student advocacy, the proposed CCC registration fee is not moving forward. SSCCC will work with the Chancellor’s Office to find solutions that protect access and equity.

$20M for emergency aid, $15M for Dream Resource Liaisons, and $5.1M for CCC financial aid support — a huge win for students!

The Legislature’s budget is subject to negotiations with the Governor in the coming weeks.

SSCCC joined UC, CSU students, and Early Edge at the Legislative Women’s Caucus press conference as they announced SB 271 (Reyes) as a priority bill. SB 271 aims to expand resources for students with dependent children across all higher ed segments.
