Dr. man (Echo) Su: ‘I was drawn to this position by the strong collaborative culture at the Leibniz-Institut für Wissensmedien (IWM), embedded in Tübingen’s vibrant transdisciplinary research community where psychologists, computational scientists, and educators work closely together, and I am excited to exchange ideas across the IWM, TüCeDE, LEAD, and the local KI makerspace while growing my junior research group with student assistants and a PhD student joining soon.’

During more junior positions it can feel a lot like you are flying solo, focusing on your own projects, while being in a leadership position helps also in expanding your knowledge and interests.’
