Pride is more than a celebration; it’s a continued call to make every space, including classrooms, more equitable and welcoming.

I’m especially looking forward to collaborating with new teams, gaining fresh perspectives, and stepping into a more global space to develop skills that I know will shape the next stage of my career.

This does mean that I will be posting less on this account for the time being.

I’m thrilled to announce that tomorrow I will be starting a secondment as International Qualifications Manager at OxfordAQA.

This role is an exciting opportunity to step outside my usual role, take on new challenges, and grow both professionally and personally.

Hard copies are sent out based on estimated entries submitted by your Exams Officer in January. If this wasn’t completed, you may not have them in school. Get your exams officer to call AQA and we can arrange dispatch straight away. #AQAGeography

Tomorrow is a big day! AQA GCSE Geography pre-release will be available to Centres. You will be able to access on Centre Services by 9am and your Exams Officer will be able to release the hard copies to you.

My Secret Santa gifter knew me very well (and they’re correct).

It’s such a gorgeous spot! River levels were certainly high enough for kayaking today! Plenty of soggy feet from our study sites! As proper geography fieldwork should be!

Can’t beat a glorious November day for fieldwork! If only my own rivers field trips had always had blue skies! The appearance of cows at one site was certainly a highlight! Big thank you for UCL Academy for letting me shadow!

Had a fantastic day yesterday at FSC Flatford Mill seeing some fantastic work the Field Studies Council do to engage GCSE students with the 6 stages of fieldwork enquiry. Really looking forward to a day of rivers enquiry!
