Btw Danny in the US we do have a points system on drivers licenses. But, it varies by state how they're calculated and how many you can have before losing your license. And some states don't have it. California does.

Most fiction relies on the Tolkien solution, where it is assumed that everything we hear is a translation from the original language. I'm not advocating everyone having to use the Dewey Decimal System in their homes. In fact, do whatever you want in your home, even arranging by color. It just annoys me.

A bookshelf is displayed with books arranged by shades of color to create a pleasant-looking gradient effect. However, this also hurts usability

This is dumb, but few things grind my gears the way that bookshelves arranged by color do.

It frustrates me on a philosophical level that knowledge/experiences/story is made less accessible purely for aesthetic reasons. Form over function to the extreme. I dislike it.

Reflecting back on the year, I'm most proud of how much I got out and did things. This can be tough solo but I was really committed to it.
For 2025, gonna go even harder and enjoy life.
