i will not tell you what it does, but you can guess if you want. that might be fun.

in all caps, "severely, softly" with softly broken to a new line. there is a dark-grey rectangle covering the bottom 80% of the image that "softly" is drawn over. "severely" has a drop shadow in that same grey.

opened an old project and saw i named it "severely softly". a flash of memory came back and i dug through my home directory and found the logo i made for it.

I really liked the "What did I learn about Rust?" in Alex's writing here. I'm not exactly sure why; I've been trying to articulate why for a few minutes and've come up short.

The used Sony a7s ii i bought from ebay came with seven batteries, two chargers, and a SmallRig cage, so that's pretty cool. It was on the cheaper end of the price range, too! The hot shoe has some corrosion, I'm not sure it works, but who needs one of those, anyway.

The wording of "Accept it now." is very funny. I know it's to mean "Click here to accept", probably, but it reads /so much/ as a command.

you draw by swirling thumbsticks on a game controller. just like the real thing :). it works really well, actually, and i'm pretty proud of that.

coming soon:
- keyboard input where you gallop on some keys to move the stylus
- save images as gif and 2bpp png

macOS window titled "that really etches my sketch". it's a dull, pale green with a line drawing of five boxes gently cascading downwards. it's like if you riffled some papers.

writing an etch-a-sketch simulator. i forgot why. i can't imagine i will ever etch any sketches, but i started working on it and now i want to finish it. so here we are so far!

i am content. i can now go shower and go to sleep for a few hours before work :)
