Apparently the #showmeyourknits prompt this week is green, so I thought I would share this little green octopus I made for my nephew back in 2022.

Iβm knitting a little stuffed centaur for my niece (due in June). Itβs not donβt yet, BUT I did finish making and attaching the mane, and I am in LOVE π₯°
Iβm also going to be needle felting/embroidering on a cutie mark (ala My Little Pony), and adding a tail. Itβs going to be so cute! π§Ά
Rainbow blanket done blocking and looking gorgeous π π§Ά
25.02.2025 19:24 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Baby blanket is off the needles and blocking! I love it so much.
Iβm really happy with the lace edge that I grabbed from another pattern, it adds a nice finished look. Franken-patterns are always a bit of a gamble, glad this worked how I wanted it to.
π§Ά
Did you use a pattern? Or draft it yourself? I love it.
23.02.2025 16:27 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I have started the lace section on my rainbow Baby Fade Blanket, and it is taking sooooo long. Center out blankets are fun at the start, but it is over 800 stitches per row at this point. Guess Iβll just keep plugging away. π§Ά
19.02.2025 21:37 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Glad I could help! It happens for a lot of knitters, especially if you started with crochet.

Quick question on your project, are the stitches meant to be twisted? If they arenβt, you may want to figure out why they are (it can happen a lot of ways). A project with unintended twisted stitches will make the result not as stretchy, and slanted.
Iβve also altered the pattern a few times, or combined it with other patterns. The fox is my personal favorite, and of course I didnβt write down how I did it, so I canβt make it again π€·π»ββοΈ

More favorite knitting projects! This time, a very specific category: Elijahs. By far my most repeated pattern, frequently made with yarn from The Lemonade shop. Here are 4 of my favs. π§Ά

Wow wow, bummer about the frogging, but those are beautiful. What is the pattern?
14.02.2025 23:29 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I donβt have one! But also, I donβt think it will work for an applied icord? Iβm going to do it by hand and attach it at every round. It is going to take forever, lol.
14.02.2025 23:26 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I love your color choices on these. They are beautiful!
14.02.2025 00:05 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0Been working on this rainbow baby blanket for a little while, and I love the marled fade of the yarn. Once I finish the colored section Iβm going to add a white lace edge. Should be pretty!

12.02.2025 16:49 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I finished all the mitre squares on my scrap blanket! Now all that is left is miles and miles and miles of icord around the edge.
Finishing the body of the thing feels amazing. 3.5 years of work (on and off) and I actually did it. Excited to start the next step to fully completing it.
In case anyone wants to know, details on all of these (pattern and yarns) are on my Ravelry page, which is linked in my bio.
11.02.2025 21:38 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0That yarn is gorgeous. You might have inspired me to see if any of my LYS carry it.
11.02.2025 18:45 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0While Iβm still working on my scrap blanket, more favorite knitting projects to share! This time, fingerless gloves/mitts. As you can probably tell, I love colorwork. π§Ά
11.02.2025 18:37 β π 37 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Iβm still working on finishing my scrap blanket, so I figured I would post some of my favorite projects.
Here are 4 of my very favorite pairs of socks Iβve made. Making colorwork socks is my stress relief, so I have a lot of them. π§Ά

For stripes #showmeyourknits I figured I would share a few sweaters I made for my baby while I was pregnant.
The one on the left is one of my favorite things Iβve ever made π§Ά
Oh I love those. That little sweater especially.
31.01.2025 23:05 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Thank you so much! I made a lot of other stuff in between bouts of working on it, so that definitely helped.
31.01.2025 19:09 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Going to try out this app for posting my knitting.
After 3.5 years of on-and-off work, I am almost done with my scrap blanket. Iβm really excited to finish it.
Anyone have recommendations for another scrap busting project? I still have a ton of scraps. π§Ά
I don't even know how to respond to someone like David Lynch dying. It's like finding out they canceled a holiday. Like oh yeah I didn't realize entire time periods were mortal.
