Apparently the #showmeyourknits prompt this week is green, so I thought I would share this little green octopus I made for my nephew back in 2022.

I’m knitting a little stuffed centaur for my niece (due in June). It’s not don’t yet, BUT I did finish making and attaching the mane, and I am in LOVE 🥰

I’m also going to be needle felting/embroidering on a cutie mark (ala My Little Pony), and adding a tail. It’s going to be so cute! 🧶

Baby blanket is off the needles and blocking! I love it so much.

I’m really happy with the lace edge that I grabbed from another pattern, it adds a nice finished look. Franken-patterns are always a bit of a gamble, glad this worked how I wanted it to.

I have started the lace section on my rainbow Baby Fade Blanket, and it is taking sooooo long. Center out blankets are fun at the start, but it is over 800 stitches per row at this point. Guess I’ll just keep plugging away. 🧶

Podcasts or tv shows that I’ve seen before.

Quick question on your project, are the stitches meant to be twisted? If they aren’t, you may want to figure out why they are (it can happen a lot of ways). A project with unintended twisted stitches will make the result not as stretchy, and slanted.

I’ve also altered the pattern a few times, or combined it with other patterns. The fox is my personal favorite, and of course I didn’t write down how I did it, so I can’t make it again 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don’t have one! But also, I don’t think it will work for an applied icord? I’m going to do it by hand and attach it at every round. It is going to take forever, lol.

Been working on this rainbow baby blanket for a little while, and I love the marled fade of the yarn. Once I finish the colored section I’m going to add a white lace edge. Should be pretty!

I finished all the mitre squares on my scrap blanket! Now all that is left is miles and miles and miles of icord around the edge.

Finishing the body of the thing feels amazing. 3.5 years of work (on and off) and I actually did it. Excited to start the next step to fully completing it.
