Also, that I messed up on this surely means that I'm just not good enough at anything in life.

All of this comes with the added downside of not being able to play the Dreamcast until I get it fixed, which means my routine has been changed and now I have to choose something else to play and that feels quite bad.

Not that LeGuin is obscure, but I felt the same with people recommending Earthsea as an alternative to Harry Potter.

Looking for a place near me that can fix it because I'm not brave enough to crack one of these open yet.

I was trying to fix my CRT's audio jack by cleaning it with isopropyl alcohol and some cotton, some cotton fell inside the TV (I thought the jack had an end, but turns out is a tube) and now it produces a loud buzz when audio is playing :_

I agree on the satisfaction on scanning your own textures and doing your on brushes and stuff, it has made me feel more connected to the process and the tools I use.

Like, before discovering ways of mitigating it I used to have to lie down in bed for a while after going for groceries.

My psychiatrist suggested that my chronic tiredness/ill-feelingness could be the result of the exhaustion overstimulation and hypefocus/hyper-interest cause and I'm starting to thing she could be into something.

Sunglasses and noise cancelling headphones on, trying to survive the stimulus-hell this subway becomes after every football match.

On one of those "feeling like I say something dumb every time I open my mouth, and surely everyone finds me tiresome" kind of moods.

So basically my CRT has two small issues: the audio jack is quite fiddly and the image is slightly offset to the upper left. I would want to fix those issues but I don't wanna electrocute myself, so I'm trying to learn little by little about how to operate these things safely.
