What I’ll do first is mess around with a tile nipper first on a couple of plates I’ve bought with the intention of making jewelry and see how precise I can get with that, but worse case I can rent a tile saw for $20 from Home Depot!

Every piece of glass gets shipped with a cute little drawing to hopefully protect it from being crushed!

The soldering isn’t too hard! Especially once you get the hang of it. I feel like the hardest part is getting the right shape for the piece or feeling like you’re using all of it and still having it look nice!

I solder them! I wish I knew how to do the cabochon setting but one skill at a time lol. I really don’t charge nearly enough for it, like at all at all, but it’s only $10 plus shipping. I’d probably charge even less if the silver solder were less expensive 🤣

Interest Check: So this happened last week. I was lucky enough to snag an ebay lot of the rare OFMD pattern teacups (Muirfield Windsor Court). These are *not* the ones used in production, just the same pattern. I checked estate sales/had the ebay alert up for forever, and it finally panned out 1/4

Fun fact, donuts don’t actually work for this. They’re too soft. You have to use bagels. Which really takes away a lot of the power of the insult when seen in person.

Unrelated but related, a friend of a friend had a Prince Albert and they would try to see how many pencils they could fit in it. If Wee John or the Swede had one I can imagine the crew doing that.
