This left up Tymaret's recently erected Bastion of Remembrance. There were many waiting in the Crypt of Agadeem for Tymaret, and their rise from Living Death, even with Loran coming back to finally take down the Bastion, was enough to murder the table for the King.

That's when a Geode Rager threw the table into pandemonium. The resulting Impact Tremors from Tymaret and Feather were felt across the whole battlefield. With a Storm Cauldron brewing trouble in the plains, the Hedge Mage could only come back through the mountains to tip the Cauldron over.

Loran got into some business with Tannuk, which eventually landed him a Portal to Phyrexia. A Duergar Hedge Mage ended that business partnership, as well as cut short the Rites of Flourishing. Garna blast through a Crowded Crypt to reestablish a presence for her Murder King.

Rydia didn't mind though, enjoying the high life and gathering her energy with Nissa. Tannuk warped on in with Drakuseth, burning down Rydia, as well as the Zulaport Cutthroat and Warren Soultrader that had been doing some shady business on Tymaret's behalf.

The Gloom Stalker, Erinis, wasn't the best navigator, because they could not ever seem to find their way out of New Capenna, always winding up back in the Cabaretti Courtyard or Riveteers Overlook.

So many pilots have so many opportunities to be real homies, and never take them. Damn shame.

This left Elenda open for Ovika's goblins to run amok and take the vampire down. While an Electrostatic Field developed a sense of Curiosity, Lutri was still too far behind to get back into the fight, and fell with Carth to Ovika's Goblin Bombardment.

Lutri climbed mountain after mountain, seeking even a single island, while Ovika's terrain was much more evenly spread. Without the ability to revive herself by gorging on blood, Elenda only got weaker and weaker as Vona butchered the likes of Tevesh Szat.

Turn order: Lutri, Carth (me), Elenda, Ovika*
Erebos never got the devotion he needed from Carth to come out and fight, but his presence was enough to enrage Elenda, who grabbed the Leyline Axe that was sitting on the battlefield since the start, and started swinging into Carth and his super friends

I've been doing narrative style write-ups for my playgroup after games for a few years now; it started as a practice for me to take time and attempt to more reasonably reflect on a game, rather than instinctively beat myself up afterward.
