While I’d thought about drawing Megaleg previously, I thought he was just too big. But after he showed up in the Mario Galaxy trailer, I couldn’t not draw him! I grabbed bit from both his game and movie design, and am proud of how one of the now largest characters came out! 😊

New Soup U released in the US 13 years ago today. Seeing as Nabbit was the biggest thing to come out of it, I still wanted to share another big part of the game, with the Waddlewing! Also, the concept of this little guy being the day after Culex of all people made me laugh 😂

I cannot wait to see what they’ve got in store. It’s a bit of an older drawing, but wanted to share my two favorite incarnations of Link and Zelda! The two with most experience and games behind them, the Hero of Legend and the Hero of the Wilds!

That would have been so fun! I never thought of that, and just loved the fact he got anything and wasn’t forgotten. Makes sense to me too that Nintendo would prefer to match what Mario and Crew looked like though, and if say it still didn’t disappoint

Super Mario RPG on Switch is 2 years old today! Culex has always been on of the coolest parts of that game to me, and the remake did him so much justice!

It’s more guys from Super Mario RPG! Booster and Jinx are some of the more memorable side characters from the game. As much as I love them both, it still just makes me happy that this world came back at all with the Switch remake

I like the the Claymorton name change a lot more too. Mack was always so random 😅 Speardovitch makes a lot more sense for the Weapon names as well, so I totally get the change!

I won’t spoil it since it’s kinda an unknown Manga, but I could see them ending the story in a similar way, and I am all for that. Metroid is one of Nintendo’s more adult franchises, so I would love to see them take a similar approach. (4/?)

One of the first things that popped into my head is how similar it sounds to what the Metroid Prime 2 Manga did in introducing a small federation team for Samus to interact with! They ended up being the heart of that story, so it makes me wonder if they’ve been wanting to do this for a while… (3/?)

A lot of the previews seem to be really mixed on the new characters, but I’m really excited to see what they’ll bring to the table! Samus interacting with others is one of my favorite things in the series (maybe a hot take) so I’m super excited to meet these new faces (2/?)

Metroid Prime 4 is finally getting trailers and Previews! One of the biggest takeaways I’m seeing is Samus interacting more with Federation Troopers, which is awesome! 🧵
