We Arenโ€™t Meant To Live This Way: Late-Stage Capitalism, Over-Consumption and Social Media Influence How We Are Perpetuating The Cycle Of Consumerism

The garment industry is the second largest polluter in the world, with oil being in the lead. Fast fashion is not sustainable, and thereโ€™s no denying it. Itโ€™s not only killing the planet, but garment workers suffer some of the worst labor practices in the world.

I'm truly exhausted by tech. I don't want to keep up with all of the digisec stuff, the AI stuff, etc. etc. Put your stuff on a platform and they decide to shut down. Send your large files to someone and the company decides to usurp your ownership of your own work. It's just exhausting.

Every single story you are hearing from the Everglades Concentration Camp has been and is already taking place in hundreds of prisons and jails in the U.S. That's what PIC abolitionists have been trying to get the public to understand for decades.

At The Intersection of Hope and Grief Thoughts on healing, direct action, and building a community of care.

It was in my mid 20sโ€™ when I really learned the power of a single action. I was in my fourth year of college and my landlord suddenly retracted my lease renewal and began his year-long quest to evict me from my rent-stabilized apartment.

This is a season of trench warfare and we have to continue to fight because a law passed is NOT the end and I think we all know this. There will be implementation fight opportunities, there will be constant organizing and pushback. Nothing is permanent. Onwards.

Instead of Giving Into Despair Over Trumpโ€™s Big Evil Bill, Letโ€™s Organize Independence Day felt like a storm creeping overhead.

If youโ€™re wondering where to start, a good place is always in your own backyard. Check in with your local food banks, clinics, and legal aid organizations and find out how you can help. Whether itโ€™s donating food, time, or money, there are ways to show up for your friends and neighbors near you.

Love Radicalized: Thoughts on Unlearning Harm and Rebuilding Love for The End of The World Love in Late-Stage Capitalism, Love as in Care Work, Care Work as in Showing Up

We are creating a new kind of culture where the care work we do for each other is so powerful that it can challenge a harmful system that dehumanizes others daily.

We hear the phrase "work-life balance" all the time. One of the 3 most common objections to universal basic income is that people would work less. On balance, because less work means more life, that's the same thing as fearing that people would live more.

Oh no, people lived 2 hours more per weekโ€ฆ
