They are not the same.

The right-wing agenda isn’t about “life.”

It’s about control.

When a state forces a brain-dead pregnant woman to remain on life support against her family's wishes, it abandons its humanity. This is not pro-life; it's a profound violation of human rights. The trauma of continuing a pregnancy under such circumstances is unimaginable.

A reminder for this Transgender Day of Visibility:

Trans people have always existed, and we always will. 

No president, politician, or court can change that.

The abuser’s classic playbook is to isolate you from your friends, create a sense of helplessness, make it difficult to connect with others and force you to simply think about your survival from one day to the next. We are seeing that playbook applied to the nation as a whole.

The US spends almost twice as much per capita on health care as any other nation. Yet 85 million Americans are uninsured or under-insured and 68,000 die each year because they can’t afford a doctor.

Health care must be a human right, not a privilege. We need Medicare for All.
