I did like the part where you wondered if you liked Bumblebee more than the others because you opened him first. I've wondered that for any blind boxes things I've bought in the past. Would I have gotten into this thing if my first purchase had something good or would I have just gotten the one?

Games Workshop's marketing team really fumbled for the "Summer of Chaos" when the Space Wolves overshadowed the Chaos releases. Should have been the "Summer of Slaanesh" or "Summer of Space Wolves"

Slowly dry brushing up from a dark brown to coppery/gold. At least Necrons are a bit better for batch painting than Death Guard.

Deciding last minute to do minis for your next session of D&D is a bit of a roller coaster of finding STLs, printing STLs, fixing the broken STLs and I've not even begun to paint them.

Ugh! The one issue when batch painting is the extensive ugly phase. Seeing all these brown and white Necrons feels so demoralizing.

Finally finished off the first office Crisis Protocol minis. Crossbones, one of the Red Skull's most loyal enforcers. I enjoyed painting the skin on this figure.

The STL files I have are closer to the Byrne era, which is unfortunate since I do like the Jefferies Box version. Since I didn't create the STLs, I stuck with the ones I can get which end at Talisman it seems.

At this point they are. The 360 era was the last of the "full games" you could buy. Not really any day one patch, balance patches, live service grinding. Just a whole game you could play, finish and enjoy with enough content to be satisfied with.
