There are good landlords and there are bad landlords, but I would prefer it if there weren’t landlords at all 🏡 I sympathise that in our tough economy people have to make money somehow, but landlords use their lucky position to profit off of others’ inability to afford a home.

ACORN Union’s first national convention featured workshops on recruitment, leadership, housing rights, and communications, and included an eviction resistance role-play, culminating in the launch of their Bailiffs Out of Britain campaign.

Only half as many goals as last season, disappointing

ACORN Preston and Sheffield joined forces at Places for People offices to stop an eviction. Members secured a meeting with leadership and ensured tenant issues will be fully investigated. Solidarity wins!

I was born at the Rosie, I'm under both dermatology and gastro departments as an outpatient. My uncle had two stays here in the last month. My mum and nan are frequent patients. Our local hospitals mean a lot to me, it's the tireless staff that make them what they are. They deserve a fair wage!

I hold up a sign (borrowed from a kind comrade) that says "As a patient I support striking doctors", while flanked by striking resident doctors, looking splendid in their orange BMA hats. We are stood on a hot, sunny picket line outside the Cambridge University Hospitals (Addenbrooke's).
