This painting “Chelsea VI” by Utah artist Don Olsen is one of my favorites in the Springville Museum of Art’s Permanent Collection. He was a violinist before he started painting. This piece references New York City, Olsen would stay in Chelsea at the Chelsea hotel when he visited.
