I sat through on so many interview panels and the ideas of the applicants were BRILLIANT. Some had to develop a whole subject from scratch and present it. This is at least a weeks worth of unpaid labour.

So applicants have to put in so much free time to develop course content or research plans for academic job interviews. We (as hirers) should be paying them an honorarium for this time or not ask interview processes to be so onerous. #academicsky

I don’t understand how excel is any better or worse than storing as a csv file or an SPSS file?

I only remember seeing the study on how children were still able to discern emotions from their early childhood educators when they were wearing masks. I can try to find it if needed!
