“You must be so relieved that ICE is gone.” Well, no. You see, here in Minnesota, we have this thing called “false spring.” It gets really warm for a couple of days (it was almost 60 degrees yesterday). Even the maple sap starts to flow. And then some killer storm comes through and we’re back to cold and snow…and ice…until April. In the day-to-day, I see little to no evidence that there’s been a drawdown, or at least much of one. Shiny new deliveries of cars arrive at the Whipple Federal Building daily. There are still abductions, and tons of suspicious cars driving around. The “shock and awe” days of “early Bovino” are done, but in some ways things seem more sinister. Last weekend, other strange cars started showing up in parking lots near me — 9 separate recorded sightings in parking lots within two blocks of our home. Single white guys, out of state plates, tons of computer equipment set up. “I’m not ICE. Haven’t you heard, ICE is gone? I’m just doing my job. This is a public lot, I have a right to be here.” (spoiler - there are no public lots here). And then the drones started showing up. They don’t seem to be registered, but they are all over — often over the homes of people who have been observers — like flying monkeys. I don’t know what is going on. But I don’t like it.

I have a friend who has been sending me ICE updates from the Twin Cities and "false spring" resonates so hard...

Why is this message not being shouted by the Dems?
