It still needs to be successful to survive. A dumbing down of the workforce benefits nobody. One thing is for sure, with AI and automated manufacturing. More high skilled graduates are needed. Those graduates won’t be stupid. If life is better elsewhere, they’ll go, just as they do now.

Oh ! Not clever. I’d sooner have a successful and respected country that benefits everyone, regardless of who’s driving it.

They could have looked to other countries that have had women as the most senior politician. Then base a vote on what they’ve done for their country. Although I suspect some care more about their wallet than the prosperity of the country ?

Trump got 77.3 million votes. America has about 340 million people. So Trump only represents about 25% of the population. I know a lot can’t vote (children etc) anyway, but they’re still living in the US.

So I recently understood. Apparently some 80+ million couldn’t be bothered to leave home. That’s about the population of the UK. I’ve seen local elections won or lost by 1 vote. That proves every single vote counts. The EU does understand Trump doesn’t represent the actual majority of voting people.

This is true. I assume our cats have been talking to other local cats. They’ve taken to crying for food by sitting next to their empty bowl and staring into it ! Never having done it before, can’t imagine how they worked that one out ? Not too many options to what they’re asking for !

But what would Trump know. When asked on camera if he should be protecting the constitution, said he didn’t know cos he wasn’t a lawyer. Already forgotten his oath of office, has a very short memory or doesn’t give a crap ?

Imagine the cost to the tax payer of getting all those people (plus hangers on) together in one room. Flying them in from all over the planet. Imagine Putin, or anyone else, knowing all the military leaders of the whole country could have been wiped out in 1 second !
