Gofundme should not be our national safety net

there’s something about cutting down a childhood tree that causes a primal grief in me. growing up, i had That Tree at my grandparents’, one at my dad’s, and one at my mom’s. my mom had to cut down hers recently and it had been the last one standing. i feel weirdly orphaned.

i went from overworking myself to not knowing what day of the week it is. thus is holiday break at the end of a brutal election year for a c4 ED

as someone who was an undiagnosed autistic child, i can tell you that i was treated like shit but at least i was vaccinated from life threatening illnesses. at least i survived my childhood to be an adult who loves being autistic.

vaccines don’t cause autism and the fact that folks will risk the death of their children to avoid the fake possibility of having an autistic child really speaks to how horribly autistic children are treated.
