Seems like people are talking about the Squonk again. I "designed" a shirt honoring this weepy Pennsylvania creature (legend? cryptid?) and if you buy it right now you'll be the fifth person to own one.

Anyway, I'm sure everybody's posted all the cool, classic or badass tracks, but I think it's worth remembering that Ozzy Osbourne was super weird. Listen to this weird song.

I never met Ozzy but I saw him in concert four times. Dude meant as much to earlier me as Kurt Vonnegut, and his passing is similarly unsettling to older me. Ozzy's always been there like a mountain in the background.

Later, a security guard tried to tell us we didn't have the right credentials so we ducked into an unmarked door and found ourselves onstage behind Slayer. We scurried off to the side and hung out with Krusher, the guy who designed the Bark at the Moon cover.

My Ozzy story is that my brother and I were backstage at Ozzfest (press pass!) in a picnic table area, and Ozzy suddenly shuffled into view holding a little puppy. One of his kids was bawling and begging him to hand her the puppy. They walked in a loop and then disappeared. This was pre-Osbournes.

I'm listening to dance music.
