Mainly so I get to say things like "You have angered the Marmot. It uses an attack called 'the Wheel of Pain!'"

Highly recommend this BTW. Players are very capable these days. They can tank 40 points of damage.

Over the past three months, I learned everything I could about Final Fantasy – from its rich history to its massive cultural impact and the many in-jokes shared among its fans.

It's just way too long for me. You can FEEL it wasting your time when it's stretching a 6 hour section of the original game to 30 hours.

Part of that is the addition of voice acting and mocap cutscenes, but that shouldn't be a 5x multiplier.
