Almost my entire art process lives on the iPad. It has been great for travel (from my desk to the couch), but the downside is staring at a screen all day. I get so many migraines. I’ve seriously considered transitioning to traditional art. I write most of my manuscripts in physical notebooks 📓

Shoutout to @dansantat.bsky.social and A First Time for Everything…my 11 year old (reluctant reader) read it, loved it, and shared it with his 12 year old cousin, who read it, loved it, and made his mom read it too! The first book that my son has shared (on his own, even!) because it’s that good.

Adria is five stars! I remember I queried her a couple of years ago, and she passed on my book, but she referred me to some agents who she thought would be a good fit. It was so kind and thoughtful. She gives so much of her time and knowledge to this community. Looking forward to this episode!
