I got to get out and go for a dog sled ride the other day! Will post my fave pic later once I can get to my home computer. Was a good time! I tend to be passenger princess more often than driver 😅 but I don't mind being an extra set of hands so it's easier to deal with tangles and stuff.

Work has been SO boring. Crusher is down, hasn't snowed in what feels like forever, absolutely frigid outside, and there really is just nothing going on. I could tidy my office, but god, I just can't bring myself to.

I think about my hysto most when my friends complain to me about period pain and I go "damn, again? Girl you were JUST telling me about that not very long ago," and I am so so grateful I don't have to experience periods anymore. Like every month is just cruel.

Horribly frigid this morning and I have little to nothing to do at the office today, yet I must be here 😒 it's cold in here and I have all the heaters cranked. Boo!

Love nights when my boyfriend cooks 🥰 his meals are always good and it means I get to hang out with the critters while supper gets made.

Work has been very boring. Turns out when it doesn't snow for a while there isn't a lot for snow plow guys to do 😒

I even brought my DS and Rune Factory 2 with me to work, but I just wanna go home and play 5 so bad 😭 I got it on steam so it's not like I can bring my switch with me. I've basically moved entirely to PC gaming now because fuck Nintendo ✌️

It has also become increasingly clear that my border collie thing is very likely half siberian husky. Which honestly makes him my ideal dog and I can't believe I got him for free?? He has been such a delight and I adore him. His only flaw is he wants to chase cars SO bad.

ALSO I picked up Rune Factory 5 a little while ago and it has been all consuming in my mind. I played all weekend. There is fuck all going on at work right now and I just wanna go home and play RF all day every day. Feels like a waste to sit in my office doing nothing every day.

Anyway, I have yet to feel runners beneath my boots this season and I am starting to go crazy about it. The weather has been too wild. But!! Tomorrow! Maybe. I hope!!!

I think I need to make more of an effort to spend time here, so I am gonna start posting some of my ramblings here I think.

We've been having a busy summer, and I mostly live on tumblr, so I am not here often. But summer is coming to a close, which means dog sledding is around the corner. Fall training is beginning now! Maybe this year I will get to race!

I keep forgetting this place exists and I got another dog since the last time I posted 😅😅 This is Boomer the border collie. He is a good boy and fits in very well so far!

We went to the gravel pits on saturday for a romp. Rollei cannot be trusted off-leash, so he was on a homemade longline. Very handsome boy tho! He was the only one of the 3 dogs that wasn't pooped after. Endless energy, this guy.

When you're a sled dog born to run for miles every day, but your momey works a desk job. Echo's turn to accompany me to the office this time. She is pretty content to snooze next to me while I enter bills into QB 👍

My new job that was supposed to change things for me has turned out to be a giant nightmare, and I am searching for something new again. Incredibly frustrating. I am tired of job hopping. I want something long-term that pays the bills and doesn't make me hate my life!!!

Tbf, it was a very big cup, and he is on a weight loss journey at the moment 😂

Rollei did very well at the vet the other day and even made friends with her! Sometimes he can be nervous or defensive, but he was such a good boy that he got a cup of whipped cream on the way home.

The girls very politely let us know it was time to get up this morning. God forbid the humans sleep in on a Sunday 😂

Little Mouse is proving to be quite the character. We are super in love with her, and I really hope integration with the other animals goes well. She did meet Sprocket yesterday and was VERY spooked about it, but I think she will adjust.

Oh, and I am removing my office from the spare bedroom because I no longer work for the lawyer, and I am bookkeeping for a gravel company now. So that's good. But the gravel company is proving to be just as messy 🤦‍♀️

Miss Mouse is doing very well. Vet appointment this afternoon. She is a super sweet little kitty. She also very much would like to escape the bathroom, but I cannot allow that yet. The other cats need a slow intro. I am gonna move her into my spare bedroom once I remove my office from it.

I don't consider it adopting when I pick them up off the street, but yeah, she will likely be staying. The shelter is full, and I sorta don't have much other choice anyway 😅

I was MIA again for a while. Sorry friends. Life has been busy. Leon scratched both races he was at this year and it was a bad season for us, race wise. On the bright side, sled dog pics incoming! I got to spend a lot of time with my fave dogs ❤️
