As I see it your only option is to double track the guitars 😜 That way you get the sonic contributions of the new guitar without undermining the recording efforts on the first instrument!

I am hopeful that after this afternoon's efforts, I have wrapped on recording my debut album! I started writing 5.5 years ago, and have re-recorded most tracks at least twice in that time 😂 But I'm pretty certain that I now have versions of all tracks that I'm happy with 🙂 Now just to mix it all...

*Also possible that just having music generally, or a week's rest before the ride caused the increase in performance 😝

My other issue is with the parallels between the film and fictional script. I was all ready for a really satisfying ending where they mirrored each other wonderfully and it all felt clever, and it just... didn't.

I do think that Walken made it. The bit near the end:

actually made me laugh out loud.
I think my two biggest gripes were, firstly that most of the psychopaths probably weren't actually psychopaths, especially Zebediah and er... Woody Harrelson. -

No one has mentioned the possibility of Triffids, which I feel is an unwise oversight

Weirdly I watched this for the first time last night. I didn't hate it, but it did seem to want to tread a line between raucous comedy and intelligent, multi-layered plot without quite doing either. Why didn't you like it?

As is the way with creativity, I came away from Saturday's concert inspired and set to work channeling that inspiration. And what has come out bears no relation to the thing that inspired it 😂

Just watched SatchVai band in London. As the two of them playing on a G3 CD was what inspired me to take guitar seriously, and therefore influenced the course of my life, it was a very emotive evening. And it goes without saying, the playing was phenomenal!

I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for this when it comes out 😃
