Although the two are very different beasts, I like my games like I like my club meetings: Bouts of humor are good and help the whole experience, but if it's just that, you go home wondering what just happened and if this was time well spent.

To be fair, if I made a game with / based on this system, I would label it Forged in the Dark, because that's what it is in my view.
To me there is too little new stuff to merit calling Illuminated Worlds its own system or its own brand of games.

Increasingly this feels like a foundational text of the 21st century.

I am one rung below you on this ladder: I barf out half-formed ideas and let them dry up on the floor. But the thought of keeping them in seems impossible and/or painful.

I'd have said it's from flying most of the time and thus not putting any weight on them - if she would ever use these wings for anything but justifying her not putting a top on.

In a weird way her being so unashamedly topless makes the wife's non-reaction more plausible/ less implausible. I mean, they're not trying to cover her up, she just happens to be half nude.
