Apparently the power management system of the MSI B450 Gaming Plus Max is ridiculously sensitive and the way my ancient ass Atheros WiFi card did power saving was enough to convince my motherboard's chipset that it was experiencing dangerous voltage spikes.

I managed to fix my computer's persistent MCE issues. The fix was genuinely dumber than I could have possibly imagined. I disabled power saving in my wifi card's drivers.

I will NOT waste an opportunity to mock this kind of thing.
