I am so sick that our Portland icon served them at all. They are-or should be-better than that. I don’t think I’ll be visiting VooDoo for quite a while…..sad.

Let them double if they are Trump voters. Triple them, even. Nobody cares what happens to them, stop advocating for them as if they are just like the rest of us. They are NOT and deserve no relief. Your task is to figure out how to separate them and refuse relief for them.

If that couple voted for Trump, they can suck it. I want zero relief for them.

It’s October for crying out loud. If they’re going to dance, do the CHICKEN DANCE!

Idaho doesn’t care. Truly. Idaho does NOT care. Exclude the entire state. It’s not that far to Ontario, Oregon. For the cost of that premium increase, she could relocate to a better state. Almost 60 y/o retired suburban blue collar home owning white woman here. The only thing I fear is whether my Starbucks high protein non-fat vanilla latte is too hot when I go through drive thru.

The “not sure”’s are just republicans who still have 1/2 a conscience and 3 brain cells. They actually don’t approve of republicans handling, they just won’t admit their party has become the party of fascism. And they are still hopeful the normie republicans will come back & save them.

I am 100% for it. They must be held accountable for 47. That’s what adults do-make a decision and LIVE WITH THE CONSEQUENCES.

My fear is too many 47 voters think the rest of us are going to let them off the hook in ‘26/‘28 and think they’ll just vote differently next time and all will be forgiven.

If they get suits going now and enough of them are successful, it is likely at least some will get through to full adjudication b4 the end of his term. Also, with enough suits, the umbrella insurance co. they use for liability may drop their product. That puts the officers personally on the hook.

GOOD! They need to be forced to live with the consequences of their behavior.

It’s a milk toast response. Trump will pardon every one of them b4 he leaves office-IF he ever leaves.

Ppl need to start civil suits against each & every officer who tramples our civil rights. A few bankruptcy-inducing civil rights judgements against individual officers will change their behavior.

Every time you think this-or-that is a red line, the red line moves. There is worse coming.

Sad to see even “The Bulwark” hedging its bets. “…getting too late…” is a cop out statement. It IS too late, the rest of us are DONE with THOSE who voted for him. WE are never going to commune with them again. The damage THEY have done via their electeds can never be fixed, forgotten or forgiven.

As any victim of domestic violence who is assaulted after receiving a restraining order will tell you, a piece of paper only goes so far to deter a determined abuser.

It IS an easy choice, governor. I WANT rural red counties to lose their funding, ALL fed funding-hospitals/treatment centers/clinics, roads, schools, first responders of all sorts. Step up & replace federal funding w/state funds for cities & suburbia. You know, the economic drivers in your state.

When a president sends troops into American cities to “restore order,” what he’s really doing is testing obedience. Portland and Chicago aren’t war zones…they’re warning shots. Authoritarians don’t announce takeovers. They practice them. One city at a time. However, each practice destroys families.

So sad to know that most of my quilts will end up at the same place you scored yours at. My daughter only uses the fleece & fuzzy blankets nowadays. She couldn’t care less about the quilts I love to make.

When your allies do things like this, it’s time to reflect on who your allies are.
