If the O’s trade Laureano it had better not be similar to the Urias deal. I could live with a Kittredge-style return with a high ceiling, years away prospect combined with a 45 FV but given the contract and his season I think Laureano should pull someone in the 45-50 FV range who’s in AA or high A.

If nothing else this is the one Brighton makes major coin on. But it needs to go down quickly so we’re not picking through others scraps or doing dodgy loan deals for a replacement.

I’d like to see the Orioles bring in a reliever for 2026 today, particularly one that’s essentially a salary dump with a decent upside so the acquisition cost would be low.
